When creating G Humayun we followed the Azerbaijan music culture and took their traditional Humayun mugham (mode) as the basis. Humayun mode is usually used for tragic folk songs. However, RAV Humayun is closer to the major scale, so if you are looking for this exotic lyric feeling, our RAV Vast G Humayun recreates exactly that. This drum will be hard to acquire for a beginner. That is why if you have had experience with handpans or tongue drums, be sure to succeed with it. As this drum has an exotic vibe it will sound especially beautiful with middle-eastern instruments like darbuka, doumbek, cajon, dayereh and daf.
